Daniele is Peering Developer at Namex Roma IXP. In the early 2000s, he upscaled Namex from a volunteer-based initiative to a healthy not-for-profit IXP, the largest in central-southern Italy. He's now focused on developing peering in the Mediterranean area.

Julian has worked in the cloud and virtualization industry for over 15 years. After completing his PhD at Cambridge University, he became involved in writing a technology called Xen, which became the foundation of the public cloud back in 2007 when it was adopted by Amazon and most of the emerging public cloud infrastructure providers of the day.

Julian began Sunlight as an incubation project in 2013 to build a lightweight hypervisor for low-power Arm processors. On seeing its value for data-intensive applications at the Edge, Julian and the founding team built it into a full hyperconverged infrastructure stack - Sunlight. Sunlight has secured $20m in funding to date and has gone on to launch new products, including the Sunlight NexCenter and AppLibrary. Julian previously held positions at OnApp, as Chief Scientific Officer, and Citrix, as Storage Architect.

Amir Ben-Gacem is a Partner at Record Digital, overseeing the digital infrastructure initiatives of Record Financial Group, a UK fund manager with some $87bn in AUM. He has spent more than two decades in investment banking in the city of London, holding senior positions at major financial institutions including BNP Paribas, HSBC Global Markets and Morgan Stanley. Most recently, he was head of international Emerging Markets sales at Credit Suisse Securities. Amir has a wide range of expertise and is specialised in emerging and frontier fixed income products both cash and derivatives. He now focuses on new technologies and renewable energy. Outside of his professional life, Amir is Vice President and Executive Board member of the International Trail Runners Association. He is also a TedX and a COP28 guest speaker and a proactive business angel. Academically, Amir holds bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and computer science, as well as a master’s degree in Financial Markets from Paris Dauphine University.

Dr Fouad ben Nasr Omri is responsible for the product engineering of AI-infused applications at scale at QiO. Managing a global team of engineers to develop AI expertise that provides our customers and partners with self-learning applications that are not limited by static slices of point-in-time views but become smarter with each deployment.
Fouad holds a PhD in computer science and applied mathematics from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. He was a Lecturer and Senior Researcher at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, specialising in Statistical Modelling, Machine Learning, Big Data, Predictive Analytics, Deep Learning and Reinforcement Learning.

Marco d'Itri has been working since 2006 for Seeweb, an Italian cloud infrastructure and colocation provider, where he develops the cloud computing services and manages things like the network, DNS and the mail systems.
He has been using Linux since 1996, IPv6 since 2000 and has been a Debian Developer since 1997.

Matija launched his career in 2003 as a co-founder of the Klaro group, beginning as a developer before transitioning into an R&D managerial role. His technical journey provided him with profound insights into software architecture, and development processes such as agile development, test-driven development, continuous integration, and system administration.
When the company pivoted towards hosting and began acquiring competitors, Matija became responsible of operations, playing a pivotal role in establishing the largest hosting group in Slovenia. Later, he co-founded DHH, an internet access and cloud computing platform in the developing markets of Europe. Today he’s the COO of DHH, responsible for the operations of the group.
Holding a MSc in Computer Science, Matija maintains an active involvement in Slovenia's developer community, further enriching his industry expertise.

Belhassen Jerbi is a seasoned professional with a robust background in IT, product management and business development. As the current General Manager at DATA HORIZON, he oversees operations in France, Germany, and Tunisia.

Tarek Bel Haj Kacem is an industrial computer engineer from INSAT. He is the product owner of ElcoMES/EMS plateforme installed in many industries and DataCenters inside and outside Tunisia.
Tarek worked on different solutions for industry 4.0, industrial IoT systems and Smart Building Environmental Monitoring System which gave him the experience to training on Industry 4.0 Roadmap, Data Center Environmental Protection and Power Management.

As a fan of robotics, Tarek was part of university robotics clubs, in 2015 he was the president of the Tunisian national day of robotics TUNIROBOTS, in 2016 he was the co-founder and treasurer of the Tunisian robot law association and in 2018 he was one of the founders of the Tunisian robotics federation.
